Our client, located in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a Sr. Software Developer for an immediate full-time position.  Details include:

Accordingly, strong technical and logical thinking skills are essential.  A Bachelor?s degree or higher is strongly preferred, although we retain an open mind. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, as developers must interact with other team members in various departments.  Excellent object-oriented programming skills, problem solving abilities and attention to detail are a must.

Responsibilities:

• Support and re-factor existing applications
• Architect, design, and implement new applications or systems using .NET technologies
• Maintaining web, windows, and server applications that present data and deliver processing and analytical capabilities to our clients
• Creating automated tests as part of test driven development methodology
• Applying cutting edge technologies to complex problems in the financial space
• Manage and/or participate in multiple high priority projects simultaneously and interact with your peers to make the best technical decisions

Minimum Technical Skills:

• Experience in n-tiered development
• Comprehensive understanding and usage of Microsoft Technologies
• Comprehensive understanding of programming techniques and practices
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures and software design
• Extensive experience with an object oriented design and language, such as C#, C++ or Java
• Experience in developing stored procedures, T-SQL development, and schema design

Preferred Experience / Interests:

• Experience with .NET Framework 4.0
• Experience with web development using MVC 3 and jQuery
• Development experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment
• Experience refactoring legacy applications
• Bachelor?s degree or higher is strongly preferred, although we retain an open mind as to the major
