This Social Worker position is the primary contact for clients' families, guardians and/or friends, and is responsible for family education, family counseling, individual and group family support activities, discharge planning, staff training and client resource management.

Core qualifications:

Master's level Social Work (MSW)

Licensed in the State of Michigan

Leadership skills

Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting

Strong communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability and willingness to learn new skills

Ability and willingness to set priorities

Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and serve as a team member

Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 30lbs.

Acceptable under the State of Michigan Good Moral Character Statute

Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules

Must have a valid driver's license

Acceptable driving record

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings

Must be willing to be on-call
