Role: Assembler

Location: Danvers, MA.

Duration: Contract

Shifts Available: 1st&3rd

Job Duties:

• Performs a variety of equipment operating and adjusting duties such as assembling, mixing, cleaning, welding, bonding, inspecting, testing, labeling, packaging, etc. to fabricate and process products to meet high quality specifications following prescribed procedures. Working from verbal and written instructions may use a variety of equipment including welders, hot air guns, scales, bonders, fillers, simple test equipment and other related supplies. Follows engineering documents and blueprints. May use measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerances, disassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions. Makes accept/reject decisions, taking corrective action where possible.
  

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum 1 year of hand assembly or production experience.  Assignments are routine in nature.  Works under close supervision, involving detailed instructions and frequent checking on work.  Due to the significant manual paperwork, must be able to communicate effectively speaking and writing.
