Our client is a very healthy bank group that is currently looking for a new Chief Financial Officer in the South Bend, Indiana area. This bank is a very progressive bank and the CEO is looking to take this bank from a $2 billion bank holding company to a $5 billion bank holding company in the next 5 - 7 years. Our client is looking for an individual that has at least 14+ years experience in managing investments, funding, hedging and financial planning in a financial institution environment. They would prefer a MBA or CPA and have cfo experience with a $2 - $10 billion bank. This position will over the treasurer, controller, investment portfolio, security officer, audit dept, compliance, and the trust/wealth management area which includes traditional trust as well as investment center sales/annuities for a total of approximately 52 people. This person will need to have demonstrated extensive background in the financial area including financial analysis, financial reporting, asset/liability management and portfolio management with a thorough understanding of the following: Principles and techniques for interest rate risk management, liquidity/investment management, credit risk management, and operations risk management. Serve as the Risk Management Officer. The CFO will work very closely with the CEO and Divisional Partners to assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and company's long-term strategy.
