Senior Programmer III – Boston, MA

Senior Programmers lead and manage a variety of projects, whilst actively playing a role in the development of other Programmers and the wider Programming organisation. Working as a senior member of the team, they are expected to take ownership of ongoing and new project deliverables and outputs, for use in clinical study reports and regulatory submissions. Coupled with this, the majority of our Senior Programmers are leaders and mentors, providing training and support to other Programmers, taking an active role in their ongoing career development.

You will be able to draw upon your experience in Programming within SAS environments, to apply the highest standards of accuracy and quality in all of your projects. Your knowledge of industry regulations and best practice such as GCP and ICH standards will be critical in the application of your Programming expertise.

From time to time, working to tight and sometimes changing timelines is a feature of what we do. Maintaining the highest levels of quality in your delivery at all times will require you to draw upon your experience in the industry, to ensure that standards of accuracy and attention to detail are preserved.

We believe that empowering Senior Programmers with the ability to lead and develop other Programmers is important for the ongoing and future success of our organisation. As a result, you will need to use your experiences supporting and mentoring less experienced Programmers to help them grow their talent. As potential Principal Programmers of tomorrow, you will not only play a role managing colleagues, but also supporting senior members of the group with the direction and growth of the group.

Our success has been because of the talent and expertise within our organisation. However we also understand that to continue to be successful, we need to maintain a culture that fosters collaboration, and one which is focused on the continual development of our people; our talent. To achieve this, we not only offer a competitive package, but also a commitment to the ongoing training and development of all our employees. We are proud to have been recognised by achieving the Investors in People award, yet we understand that investing in our people requires an ongoing commitment. As such you can expect a true and continuous investment in your career.
