Cerner Ambulatory PowerWorks, Project Manager

Location: NC

Start Date: Target May 15th

Length of contract assignment:  22 weeks to start. Chance for extension.

The on-site schedule is Mon-Thur and there is flexibility on what time to arrive and leave on those days.

Project Description: 

Our client is rolling out Cerner Powerworks at several Ambulatory Practices and they need an experienced Ambulatory EMR PM to lead the effort. This person must have experience rolling out EMR's to Ambulatory sites and should have some exposure to Cerner EMR's at either a hospital setting or an ambulatory site.

This person will be responsible for developing the work plan for the project, assessing the client's technical needs, creating current state and future state workflows and managing the testing/go-live effort.

Required Skills:

• Must have experience as a project manager rolling out an EMR to ambulatory sites
  • Cerner Powerworks is preferred, but not required.
• Must have experience working on some kind of a Cerner implementation in the past to understand  how Cerner professional Services runs their projects
• Must have a very strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows
