Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Working under the direct supervision of the Regional Litigation Support Manager, prepare information for review, production, or presentation, in the context of discovery for litigation matters, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Assist case teams with all phases of discovery and trial in a traditional litigation support context. Provide exception level of service. Committed to established processes and standards.

REPRESENTATIVE MAJOR DUTIES:
• Creating and maintaining litigation support databases, such as Concordance and Concordance Image
• Loading and maintaining data, video, and image collections on network
• Processing data for review using electronic evidence discovery software tools such as LAW
• Loading and extracting text as required by litigation support applications or assigned tasks
• Manipulating data using various text editing and comparative software tools such as Textpad, MS Excel, and MS Access
• Maintaining tracking logs of data and images
• Troubleshooting litigation support applications and databases
• Preparing and transferring data, video, and images, to stand alone computers for deposition, court proceedings, trial, or presentation
• Preparing document images and data for production in a variety of litigation support software formats
• Quality checking data and images received from third party sources and vendors
• Identify project scopes and provide electronic discovery guidance
• Manage projects for NOVA and DC

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Bacalauriate degree
• 4+ years experience in litigation support role at law firm or vendor
• Technical proficiency in data loading and manipulation as required by litigation support databases and tasks
• Technical proficiency in using and administering litigation support applications, with an emphasis on Concordance, Opticon, CaseMap, TimeMap, Trial Director, LAW 5.0, Clearwell, and LiveNote, as well as fluency with Windows operating systems and Office applications
• Project management concepts
