Role

As a Systems Engineer working within the Infrastructure team, you will ensure that the load-balancing and DNS services are always secure, performant, available, scalable and operationally excellent. You will be working on highly visible projects that directly impact the availability and performance of services across the entire business. You will also be driving performance and reliability from load balancing at massive scale.

What you need to have

The most successful candidates for this role will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong coding skills, systems architecture and design,great communication skills and a desire to tackle the complex problems of scale. We are particularly interested in software engineers and Unix programmers familiar with aspects of running web services at scale.

Requirements

BA/BS in CS or related field or equivalent experience
Solid Linux/Unix system administration skills
Experienced at network and systems troubleshooting.
Strong programming or scripting abilities (any of Perl, Python, Ruby, Java, C).
 Great verbal and written communications skills

Desirable Qualifications

Past experience with hardware or software load balancers, managing network devices, large web farms.
