Temporary International and Regions Officer. Chartered Institute. Balham. Temporary role on a month to month rolling contract. Possibility of going perm after 3 months. £23k to £24k pro rata.

An amazing opportunity to join the team of a very well respected and influential Chartered Institute based in Balham South London.

This is a busy and varied role providing administrative support for the Institution's activities in relation to developing links with members and non members outside the UK and act as a focal point for Branches and Country Representatives. By enhancing relationships internationally the post holder will contribute to the Institution's vision of Institution growth. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for the Regional networks in the UK and liaising with Regional Chairs.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in an administration/coordination position with an international remit. Candidates will also need to have experience of minute taking as well as working with committees and/or regional offices and branches.

Essential

Experience of working in a customer focused environment, dealing with enquiries with tact and diplomacy
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written skill
Good working knowledge of pc software, Microsoft Office and databases
Ability to write minutes
Ability to work with other people
Experience of working in an international environment
Self motivated and ability to use own initiative
Ability to work to tight deadlines with good personal organisation and time management skills
Experience of giving accurate advice via telephone and email
Self motivated and ability to use own initiative

Desirable

Educated to degree level
Experience of a membership organisations
