Position Title: IT Purchasing Analyst

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Duration: 6 month contract

Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all database records relating to software licenses and service agreements
• Provide proper supply chain management
• Prepare purchase orders and requisitions
• Maintain procurement records to provide data for internal reports
• Track orders and delivery dates to prevent project delays
• Review all invoices for materials received and accurate costs
• Work with awareness of long-term procurement needs to accomplish the company’s business objectives, make suggestions on process improvements as needed
• Work closely with IMAC Manager on current and future IT initiatives in order to effectively support growth and development
• Monitor print volumes from departments and ensure that they are being cost effective.
• Create monthly reports on printer and MFP usage across the company
• Oversee lease lifecycle on printers and MFPs, initiate returns and orders based on due dates
• Deals external vendors
• Communicates with supervisor, co-workers and end users to resolve issues as they arise

Knowledge & Skills

• Working knowledge of Purchasing functions
• Exceptional customer service skills along with excellent interpersonal, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills - must be detail oriented; Critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to diffuse tense customer situations and project a positive, confident outlook
• High level of integrity and honesty
• Ability to take direction and follow practices and procedures consistently and accurately
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to work at least eight hours per day
• Ability to lift and carry computer systems and peripheral
