Purpose of the Position:
Manage a large, complex program providing support to the Government under a multi-million dollar long-term contract for management and operations of a site, secure oil storage and distribution complex, in the Gulf Coast, involving surface and underground storage of petroleum products.
Major Duties:
Management and operations of a petroleum storage facility – including:
Drawdown readiness
Cavern integrity and workovers
Petroleum acquisition and transportation
Maintenance
Environmental
Security
Quality assurance
Safety and health
Fire protection and emergency management
Manage program in compliance with Government policies and procedures
Candidate requirement:
Education:
Preference for BA/BS in engineering, supply chain management, organizational management, or related disciplines
Advanced military/civilian or commercial training preferred
Advanced degree preferred
Experience:
Ten (10) or more years’ experience in the management and operations of petroleum storage facilities or similar industrial complex
Program management in support of the Government or a major commercial customer
Programs involving extensive operations maintenance, environmental, health, safety, quality, and security requirements
Must be U.S. Citizen
Security clearance or ability to obtain one
