Java developer

Location: Tampa, FL

Rate: $40-43/HR

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline 

Skill's Required:

5+  years overall experience in OOA/OOD, Java on UNIX platform with Oracle RDBMS
3+  years of experience in tracing production issues back to code and applying temporary data fix and permanent  resolution

3+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS with strong command on writing SQLs, stored procedures, functions and triggers 
3+ years of strong experience in UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment and related utilities including shell scripts, Perl, Sed / Awk to generate reports, develop monitoring scripts, apply data corrections.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate with onshore and offshore leads and development team.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating exceptional analytical thinking, adaptability, multi-tasking, enthusiasm and motivation

Can support and resolve the application production issues in off business hours (Including Week Ends).
Ability to co-ordinate between onshore and global offsite teams with experience in generating daily/weekly/monthly metrics of offshore SDLC to demonstrate quality/efficiency of offshore delivery. 

Skills Preferred: 
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills 
Configuration Management tool such as CVS (highly desirable) 
2-3 years experience developing applications using C++, C 
Java certifications
