Superior Technical Resources is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Toolmaker for a leading Medical Device manufacturer located in Minneapolis, MN. Essential Functions of the Job *Polishing tooling to a 15Ra (or better) finish, and building and maintaining tooling to customer satisfaction. *Troubleshooting and developing new tooling once assembled *Support production (gate calls) if required *Working closely with and providing feedback to tool designer. *Reading and interpreting blueprints (GDT). Required Skills / Qualifications: *High School Diploma or GED with a Journeyman card, documented apprenticeship or certificate in tool and die. *Minimum 3 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints *Minimum 3 year of experience with GD&T *Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting tooling and providing corrective action *Minimum 3 years of experience using general tool room equipment

Preferred Skills / Qualifications: *Strong oral and written communication skills, team player with strong collaborative attitude. *Self-driven and maintains a high level of integrity in their work. *Ability to be a team player with strong collaborative attitude *Strong mechanical aptitude. *Strong oral and written communication skills *Ability to meet deadlines and plan accordingly to meet customer needs *Self-driven and maintains high level of integrity in their work *Ability to hold .00015” tolerance on grinding. *Background or working knowledge in Solidworks.
