Job Description --

Our client is a global Management Consulting firm that provides internal support to areas such as Marketing and Communications, Human Resources/Talent, Information Technology, Facilities Management, and Financial Support Services to Global Fortune 500 clients.

 Primary Duties --

Partner with client business liaisons and internal business representatives to understand business drivers and business related to Human Capital Management and all integrated processes

Partner with business liaisons and business representatives to define HCM strategies to support client business requirements

Provide expert knowledge, define architecture, and partner with project teams to drive implementation of the solutions that are aligned with the HCM strategy and that meet the business requirements

Partner with business unit liaisons and company business representatives to encourage business process improvements, to identify data integrity issues, and to implement proactive solutions

Communicate strategy and architectural implications to client and internal Leadership, Business Liaisons

Produce solution designs and design documentation for complex enterprise applications with expert attention to and consideration of all architectural qualities (including strategy, user experience, performance, controls, stability, and enterprise security requirements), specifically related to Human Capital Management and all integration points with HCM

Partner with business liaisons, internal business representatives, technology experts, and vendors to build technology roadmaps, evaluate products and solutions, and recommend direction based on objectives and anticipated future business / technology changes

Partner with the project team to actively participate in, support, and provide input to the analysis, planning, design, development, and implementation phases of all HCM and integrated projects/processes

Provide leadership and guidance to SAP configuration analysts and developers during the analysis, design, development, and testing processes to ensure a high-quality solution is delivered based on the defined architecture

Develop or lead development of project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices

Lead or provide guidance on projects to coordinate efforts of Subject Matter Experts, Development, Quality Assurance, Usability, Training, Transport Management, and other internal resources for the successful implementation of HCM system enhancements and corrections.

Act as liaison between our client’s business functions and technical resources to effectively communicate business requirements into high quality business solutions

Perform ad hoc and project based after hour support as needed

Create and maintain internal documentation and end-user training materials as needed

Support project budgeting process and ensure on-time completion of tasks and deliverables

Plans, organizes, and manages multiple responsibilities and resources to achieve project objectives

Bachelors degree preferred or relevant technical training or equivalent work experience required.

6+ years of SAP experience in various disciplines required.

4+  years of SAP HCM implementation experience required.

Working experience on ECC 6.0 release or higher is required. 

Experience should include knowledge of SAP ERP, BW and Portal.  A good understanding and upkeep of technology knowledge, including the following examples:  ABAP (OOABAP), BSP, WebDynPro, Workflow, Service  enablement (SOA), IDoc, ALE, J2EE, XML, Sharepoint/.NET integration SAP, Security technologies SAML, ADFS; TREX.  

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required for the timely resolution of complex customer issues.

Ability to monitor and report on multiple deliverables with a focus on meeting/exceeding deadlines.

Expertise in full life-cycle development methodologies.  Experience with project management tools is desirable.
