Requirements:
Ph.D. ChemE preferred, will consider an M.S. or B.S. ChemE; 10+ years of experience with a background in catalyst development or scale-up. This person must be out of a catalyst producer, petrochemical operating firm or a technology licensing firm (such as UOP) with at least some exposure to catalysis. The more catalyst experience, the better. This person should be familiar with ASPEN, HYSYS, and/or ProII.

Job Description:
This facility has 125 people on-site and has research labs, a pilot plant and a small manufacturing plant on-site. This company produces catalyst and also produces catalyst technology which they license out to client refineries and chemical manufacturers. This person will evaluate new catalyst technologies, simulate chemical processes, develop and review heat & material balances, develop utility balances, perform basic equipment specifications, put together preliminary cost estimates, put together preliminary cost of production estimates, and will do comparative economics based on NPV or DCF-ROI calculations. The parent company is a multi-billion dollar company with facilities throughout the U.S. and World. This company will provide relocation assistance if needed and will cover realtors’ fees, closing costs, move goods, and temp living.
