National Sales Manager, Biotechnology Clients- Boston Based
HealthCare Recruiters of NY/NJ is looking for an executive to be responsible for leading a national sales team (4 right now) in charge of selling a variety of analyzer instruments to biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers ranging from large, global customers to small start-up companies across the US and Canada. The manager is accountable for hiring, developing, and coaching Account Managers in order to deliver on national sales objectives in support of corporate goals. Individual is responsible for maintaining existing customers through personal relationships and support. The Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Sales. Position responsibilities include: hiring, developing, coaching, and leading Account Managers, meeting/exceeding national sales quotas in support of corporate goals, managing, driving, and meeting all corporate sales metrics, acting as corporate resource in direct selling situations, leading and coordinating field sales activities in support of corporate account strategies and objectives, developing, managing, and executing national business plans, and coordinating special projects as directed.
Requirements: BA/BS degree, 5+ years direct management experience with documented success, at least 2-5 years direct capital sales experience to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a diverse team, proven ability to manage complex sales cycles. Experience with medical device/capital equipment and B2B background with multi-level and committee sales history preferred. Travel will be approximately 75%.
