Thompson Technologies has an immediate and exciting full time employment opportunity located in Atlanta, GA for a Lead .NET Developer.

Our client has a growing and innovative environment, and they are looking for a bright mind with a creative edge. Any experience in the Auto Industry would be a plus.

Overview:

Our client needs a .NET developer with experience in Winforms, C#, ASP.NET / MVC, Visual studio 2010, HTML, Javascript and CSS. The person selected will be an integral member of a small software development team (9 total) dedicated to the needs of one specific client account.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of software development experience with recent experience as the lead developer
• Windows and Web Development experience in a Microsoft environment including: Winforms, .NET 4.0 / C# / Visual studio 2010, ASP.NET / MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Strong SQL Database Design and Development
• Solid understanding of web services (our client currently has SOAP web services in place but will be moving to a WCF / RESTful architecture soon)
• You MUST know how to use Source Control. ( Subversion, GIT, CVS or Team Foundation Server are acceptable)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new applications from the ground up including documentation and leading a small development team through the full application life cycle.
• Be as good with people as you are with code, collaboration is key in our client’s environment.
