Immediate need for a Senior Manager of Accounting Policy for a Fortune 500 international publicly held company . In this position, the client seeks a high potential financial professional that will manage and oversee the accounting policy group. This person will be responsible for researching technical accounting issues for the company as a whole including such areas as derivatives, acquisitions, revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, etc. This position will have extensive exposure to other corporate areas such as legal, treasury, FP&A, Corporate Development and the operating companies. The ideal background would be someone with at least 10 years of technical accounting experience in the Big 4/National public accounting or someone with a combination of Big 4/National public accounting and public company experience. Large public company experience is preferred.
