An opportunity for a Human Factor Specialist to join my client a leading energy business at their site in Gloucestershire.
Key responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a Human Factors team you will provide technical advice to the company's power stations and corporate functions on key safety and commercial issues to ensure that human factors issues are assessed and adequately addressed in plant operations, safety cases and design projects.
- Providing input to the specification and development of user interface designs.
- Providing ergonomics advice on design of equipment.
- Specifying and supporting human factors research.
- The integration of human factors into the design process.
Ideally applicants will have a relevant degree in Ergonomics, Psychology or a related discipline. Familiarity with task analysis, error identification, human reliability assessment, workplace design and safety management systems is required.
