Job Description
An excellent career opportunity for you to join one of the most reputable award winning world class integrated resort in Macau. In view of their business expansion, they are now seeking for potential candidate to join their team as Director of Housekeeping Operation.
 
 
Responsibilities
 
 
Report to the Vice President, Hotel Operations, direct supervise a team with 500 work force, you will be responsible to maintain a high quality standard in all areas (Hotel, casino) within the complex.

Monitor the performance of the outside contractor (exterior wall cleaning, pool side area).

Ensure that the appearance of all Public Areas appears fresh and inviting to guests, thereby enhancing the guest experience.

Maintain the Asset. Ensure that all Public Areas are maintained in an impeccable condition, thereby preserving asset value.

This will require management of day to day and special periodic cleaning programmes and processes.

Provide supervision, direction and leadership to the Public Areas Team Members reporting to this position.

Maintain all Public Areas operations within agreed upon financial guidelines.

Assist in designing work flows and ensuring quality training is given to the team.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Public Areas.

Be proactive in safety and accident prevention. Ensure that all Team Members are adequately trained in the use of housekeeping cleaning and sanitizing chemicals as well as lifting techniques and other potentially hazardous parts of their daily work.

Monitor and control consumption and wastage of: equipment; guest supplies and cleaning supplies. 
 
 
Requirements
 
Bachelor degree holder.

Minimum 10 years working experience with large scale hotel / resort with at least 4 years in the capacity as Director of Housekeeping or Executive Housekeeper, manage a team size not less than 400 staff.

Previous Asia working experience is a must.

Excellent people management skills, intensive knowledge in carpet maintenance and professional cleaning instrument.

Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
