Our Downtown client is a well established, independently owned and operated travel agency servicing the greater Edmonton area for over 20 years.

They are currently recruiting for a full-time Travel Agent to join their team of 16 staff. As part of this dynamic organization, your contributions will play a key role in building their business. Their philosophy centers around team building and working closely with your colleagues – having fun at work and contributing to a team of long term dedicated colleagues will make you the perfect fit for this role.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position. In this centrally located office in the downtown core, you will carry out the following duties:
- building and maintaining customer relationships, helping clients in determining destination and all details associated with their desired travel requirements (accommodations, travel dates, budget, transportation, etc.,)
- booking transportation and hotel reservations
- plan and sell tour packages and promotional travel incentives
- utilize a number of methods to research and identify best deals for customers

No book of business is required! Our client has plenty of business already established for the right individual.

The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate travel and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Sabre would be considered an asset, but is not necessary.

Salary range from $40,000+ depending on experience.
