BS in Engineering

5 or more years of pipeline or facility experience

Responsible for project engineering and design support for Rockies North Area spanning 15+ oil and gas fields and 2 sour gas plants to achieve the Facilities Engineering portion of the 2012 business plan.  Typical projects range from $50k to $1MM.   Types or projects primarily consist of debottlenecking, optimization, equipment replacement, abandonment, and surface reclamation. The position will be responsible for developing and executing assigned projects from conceptual basis to handover to operations.

Ability to develop and lead project develop from conception through FEED, design, construction, and handover to operations.  Experience with framing the opportunity, developing the business case, developing alternatives, alternative evaluation, developing cost estimate, developing preliminary schedules, managing Management of Change (MOC) for assigned projects, developing documentation to support obtaining regulatory permits, developing design, working with assigned construction representative to develop execution plan, job packs, site specific safety plan, commissioning, startup, and handover to operations. Provide updates to cost, schedules tracking, and expenditure forecast tools utilized by the FE group.
