Job Summary:
The Vice President of Clinical Teams has primary accountability to meet or exceed business for all clinical team models i.e. per-diem, on-call, full time, conventions etc. The VP, Clinical Teams will direct and manage all activities of the full time infrastructure staff as well as contracted full-time/part-time clinical teams for assigned projects. They will play a key strategic role in the growth of this business practice by working with established management structure. The VP of Clinical Teams will ensure customer loyalty, retention and satisfaction through attainment of contract metrics, surveys, advisory boards, customer meetings and KPI’s and goals. The VP of Clinical Teams will identify, develop and implement actions to achieve operational excellence and cost efficiency and will cultivate long- term relationships with other Sr. Management. They will be instrumental in achievement of operating goals and establishing strategic direction for the development of new business.
Key Job Responsibilities: (Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following) · Develop and grow a clinical business unit that is “ in class” · Set expectations for the practice unit that will lead to increased customer retention and loyalty · Create business opportunities for potential and existing customers that offer solutions for their business challenges differentiating us in the marketplace · Teach others how to meet or exceed project contractual performance goals under their direction · Provide clinical team leaders with coaching and counseling that will result in team leadership skills for others to aspire · Strategically work with internal department heads and other divisions to provide integrated solutions to customers where applicable · Cultivate expansive and positive relationships within companies at all levels · Provide frequent, on-going performance feedback to all direct reports · Review of business proposals, financials and performance metrics · Participate in business presentations to gain customer business as necessary · Maintain or expand business opportunities within existing customer base to include our service offerings where appropriate · Oversee training and development of employees within the business unit · Establish and maintain a positive work environment that rewards accomplishment and encourages advancement and retention of key employees · Proven skills in regards to acquiring, interviewing, staffing, and retaining top talent · Achieve revenue and gross margin targets for assigned contracts · Manage expenses at or below expense estimates · Able to identify and be proactive for adherence to compliance for all programs, staff and others to meet FDA and other requirements · Provide reports to leadership both internal and external as necessary
Job Qualifications · Required; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline i.e. nursing, health sciences, business MBA preferred or advanced degree such as a nurse, pharmacist · Required: Minimum 10 years leadership and management experience · An individual who is business minded and has strong clinical knowledge who has the experience in putting the two together · The proven ability to lead: teams, projects, programs, and the discussions of business opportunities · Proven success in working cross functional to benefit customer value · The ability to articulate the value proposition to existing and potential customers · The ability to create credibility with customers that leads to business growth · Previous financial experience in growing and maintaining margins · Ability to travel as needed · Contact: |
