Job Details:

Job Title:  Java QA White Box Test Engineer                                                            

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12+ months contract

Rate: Open/Negotiable

Java QA Test Engineer is a hybrid between Tester and Java Developer or known as The White Box Tester.

Responsibilities:

Work with Black Box Tester to develop Automated Use Test Case Scenarios

Write a complete Integration Test Java Program using Selenium and Custom Test Harness Framework for eachA3 Application

Constantly maintaining Test Data (Expected Test Result) against Database or MTV Data (Test Data constantly changes, therefore Test Engineer is expected to adjust their test data accordingly from time to time)

Run test program for integration regression testing in every DU Releases

Ensure test program running 100% all the time

File and report defects identified by Test Program to Project Manager, Lead Tester, and Developers

Requirements:

Minimum of overall 5 years experience as QA Test Engineer or White Box Tester

Minimum of 2 years experience as black box tester

Minimum of 2 years experience as Java Developer or writing Java program

Strong Analytic and Detail Testing Skills

Strong Experience with known Testing Framework and Tools such as Selenium, JUnit, HttpUnit, DBUnit, FIT,TestNG, LoadRunner, etc.

Strong Experience with Defect Tracking Tools such as Bugzilla, JIRA, or Rational Clear Quest

Experience in writing Java Test Program

Experience with XML, XSD, DTD, WSDL

Experience in writing automated testing program/script

Experience in writing and performing Regression Testing

Experience in writing Test Case Scenarios

Experience in testing Web Application, Java API/module, and Web Services

Experience with Source Code Control such as CVS, SVN, or Rational Clear Case

Good attitude and work well with Java Developers

Skills Set:

Testing Software/Tools: Selenium, LoadRunner, SOAPUI
Testing Framework: JUnit, HttpUnit, DBUnit, FIT Test, TestNG
Programming Language: Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML and any Test Scripting
Operating System Environment: Windows, UNIX/LINUX
Source Control: CVS, SVN, Rational Clear Case
Defect Tracking Software/Tools: Bugzilla, JIRA, Rational Clear Quest
