Client needs someone with leadership qualities who can think on their own and dont need their hands held! They will for sure 100% need to have background with the Informatica MDM product - like Hub, IDD, Hierarchy Manager and SIF. They need to have a good background in Java as well. If they had any experience in actually installing and migrating code over it would be a plus. They need to come from a development background, not from the Data side! They will be configuring the tool from scratch. The next phase they have is the Product Data, as they are finishing the Customer data now! Their will be 4 people on the team total and they will have counterparts in India as well. The stuff with Oracle Fusion is a plus).

Position Description

MDM Applications Developer will be responsible for working with a team of analysts and offshore developers to gather requirements, develop implementation strategies, create technical designs and develop and test solutions for the new Informatica (Siperian) MDM application. This strategic application is the basis for managing data as an asset and enabling proper governance throughout the enterprise. MDM developer must be willing and able to learn and apply the best practices concepts of Master Data Management with the opportunity to grow into a more advanced leadership role on the team.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE: Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Understands service request requirements and the business objectives and tactics represented by the requests. Knows business processes and applies that knowledge to the data requirements, automated business solutions, integration issues and reporting requirements for specific business areas. Understands the supported technologies, platforms and applications, and applies that knowledge to automated business solutions. Specific Skills desired: • Hands on with Informatica (Siperian) MDM Hub, IDD, Hierarchy Manager and Service Information Framework (SIF). • Good understanding of MDM and data governance concepts • Exposure to Webservices development using J2EE technologies on IBM Websphere • Exposure to WSDL, SOAP,XSD, XML. XSLT, Xpath, xQuery • Exposure to developing applications using JMS • Exposure to developing applications using stateless Java beans • Ability to document technical designs using Sequence diagrams, state diagrams, Class diagrams • Exposure to Oracle 11G fusion middleware • Exposure to Oracle Service Bus, BPEL, Enterprise manager, Jdeveloper • Exposure to Oracle AIA • Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, IDE, IDS, experience a plus Other • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
