Mechanical Engineer (closed)
The Mechanical Engineer will support injector assembly and test for new GM programs, specifically by providing project management for new tooling, developing and implementing methods for equipment, supporting product review and process designs and supporting manufacturing operations on all shifts. Furthermore, he/she will develop and implement employee suggestions and continuous improvement activities, provide employee training and support creation of quality control documentation plus participate in MCIP and MEIT cost reduction initiatives.
MUST have the following education/experience:
- BSME – MS preferred
- 5 years minimum in the design and implementation of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems for high and low volume assembly, machining and test systems
- FMEA, DFA, DOE, Shainin, Six Sigma, GD&T and Lean Equipment Design
- AutoCAD and MS Office
Full-Time, Days. 1 year + contract. Rochester base but travel as needed to Shanghai, China, Juarez, Mexico and Blonie, Poland. Pay up to $49K plus vacation and holidays.
