Job Description

WJ Partners are currently recruting for the following Quality Engineer preferably with Team leader experience based in North West on behalf of our client that design, develop and assemble a wide and diverse range of Health & Safety products pre-dominantly but not restricted to Europe, Middle East and Asia. As a consequence the company must remain in compliance with the latest and expected Industry and customer standards and requirements in respect of quality, cost and delivery.

 KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 Purpose:

To manage and deliver quality requirements to support all plant and customer specific requirements. Responsibility for tracking and monitoring all identified customer / plant / supplier QOS requirements. Closure of customer / plant / supplier concerns within pre-agreed time frame using approved problem solving techniques.

 Skills & Experience

 

  • Engineering Degree (Preferred)
  • HNC / HND in Quality Management / related subject with emphasis on Supplier management preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills. Experienced in liaising with customers and suppliers.
  • Extensive experience of problem solving activities.
  • 2 - 3 years experience in a role where it was important to effectively manage relationships with multiple parties
  • Understanding of various quality tools and methodologies i.e. JIT, APQP, PPAP, 8D, SPC, Pareto charts and statistical data
  • Understanding of office software systems - comfortable maintaining and using data/databases
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed
  • Analytical & Problem Solving skills
