A Chief Legal Counsel, North Asia role has arisen with a US multinational corporation. This is a senior management role, based in Tokyo, with responsibility for North Asia.

Required Qualification / Skills

• At least 7 years experience in advising on a wide range of commercial issues in a multinational legal department including people management and management across a variety of jurisdictions in Asia Pacific
• Experience in structuring and negotiating commercial contracts and transactions, including preferably some cross-border or international transactions and working with foreign counsel
• Strong managerial skills
• Fluency in English and ideally Japanese
