You will be involved in all phases of weld engineering, welding management, and associated QA/QC activities for the manufacturing of subsea wellhead components, as well as major subsea components such as risers, subsea manifolds, and tie-in systems.
Experience with structural welding. Welding operations include deep-bore welding overlay systems as well as butt welding of light- and heavy-walled tubulars using manual and automatic methods.

Duties include interfacing with epc personnel to identify and develop welding suppliers and subcontractors.  Responsible for reviewing and approving supplier welding procedure specifications for outsourced and subcontracted items.  Responsible for nonconformance resolution and corrective actions involving welding suppliers.  Familiar with the various fabrication codes and specifications associated with topsides and subsea components including ASME section IX, AWS D1.1, DNV F101 and API 6A/17D/1104.
Certifications:  AWS CWI

You will be:
Part of O&G production systems design teams.
Develop welding and inspection specifications.
Develop welding procedures and welding qualification specifications.
Fabrication inspection of critical components.
Interfacing with fabrication contractors and design engineers.
