Job Description

We’re looking for a Director, Consumer CRM Marketing to design ways for us to love our customers even more, and to make them love us even more in return. In this role, you will oversee CRM Marketing for our Job Seeker customers, finding ways to engage and re-engage them in TheLadders.com experience, and to help point them toward the right services to best aid them through the job search process. The Director will play a key role on the Marketing leadership team and will be a highly visible role within the organization. We’re looking for someone with a knack for the numbers along with the ability to dig deep enough to figure out what make our customers tick.

The skinny:

  • You will develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to retain and activate existing customers
  • You will define customer segments and design up-selling and cross-selling strategies for each segment in order to get the right customer to the right product
  • You will manage comprehensive marketing campaigns utilizing a variety of marketing tools
  • You will be responsible for the customer contact strategy, including touch point mapping and review of key metrics
  • You will develop tests of offers, creative, tactics and segmentation to recommend action plans in order to continuously improve performance
  • You will work closely with the analytics team on the review of current segmentation strategies
  • You will enhance or create new segmentation strategies as necessary, and recommend models to improve metrics on email, direct mail, loyalty and reminder programs
  • You will develop and measure targeted email campaigns
  • You will manage and optimize the design, content, targeting and messaging of email communications
  • You will assist in the development of the overall marketing plan and how CRM/Retention marketing fits within that plan
  • You will maintain the overall plan for customer contact strategy
  • You will set benchmarks and establish analytics for key performance criteria

 

The specs:

  • You must have 8+ years in CRM marketing or product marketing for web based products
  • You must have a BS/BA (MBA preferred)
  • You must have Significant experience in managing the entire B2C user life cycle
  • You must have experience developing segmentation strategies and customer touch point plans
  • You must have expertise in development of marketing assets and collaborating with creative, product, and business intelligence teams
  • You must have experience in MS Office applications and Email Service Providers
  • You must have experience with campaign management tools and lead nurture tools
  • You must have experience with subscription-based marketing
  • You must have familiarity with the CAN-SPAM Act
  • You must have a background in online-based marketing operations and an understanding of web analytics
  • You must have an emphasis on email list and database marketing, delivery and analytics
