HR Experience Assessment Executive.  Chartered Institute.  South West London.  £27k to £30k plus Industry leading benefits package and 28 days holiday.  Full Time Permanent.

A stunning opportunity for an experienced HR professional  who has been working at HR Adviser/HR Officer/ ‘Junior HR Business Partner’ level and who’s experience is beyond processing/transactional service and has a sound understanding of the HR profession to join a leading Chartered Institute’s Experience Assessment team.

This position will be challenging and varied as well as vital to the overall success of what is a new project for the Institute.  If you are passionate as well as knowledgeable about HR and would like the opportunity to work on behalf of the profession instead of in the field then this is a rare opportunity to do that.

Experience Assessment is the process whereby an HR professional assesses another HR professional in a competency based interview to see whether their experience in suitable for them to be deemed as qualified by experience.

Working within a small team the jobholder will be involved in the Experience Assessment process from start to finish.  They will play a key role in the initial assessment of potential candidates’ suitability for the Experience Assessment route, reviewing their CVs and talking to them on the phone about their experience.  Once they have been through the process the jobholder will be involved in reviewing the candidate reports written by our external assessors.

In order to interact credibly with potential candidates, they must have current or recent experience working as an HR professional, have undertaken competency based interviewing and be able to give clear and relevant feedback.  Logical and analytical approach is essential for reviewing detailed assessments and identifying potential process/policy changes and excellent relationship management/influencing skills.

Current or recent experience of working as an HR professional (either as an employee or a consultant) is essential.  This can be either as a generalist or a specialist, although specialists must be able to demonstrate a broader, general knowledge of HR practice.

Professional CIPD membership (Associate, Chartered Member or Chartered  Fellow) is desirable but  not essential; however, the ability to speak knowledgeably and credibly with HR professionals at all levels is essential.

Experience of competency-based interviewing and the ability to give clear and relevant feedback is essential.
