This amazing federal client is looking for a Junior level .NET Developer to join their team in the heart of Washington, DC. If you excel with your C# and .NET skills and have hands-on experience with WinForms Applications then you are the ideal candidate so do not delay.

Position: .NET Developer

Duration: 6+ months with the huge possibility of extension

You will be:

• Working in a C# and .NET environment on a daily basis.
• Designing, building, and unit testing new functionality and enhancements for an existing composite application based on WinForms.
• Translating functional requirements into application designs and producing corresponding technical design documents.
• Collaborating daily with functional/testing team to resolve defects and ensure an overall quality delivery
• Working on a team that adopts a more Agile than Waterfall development methodology.
• Producing in a fast paced and deadline driven environment on a team and individually for specific project requirements.

What you need to Qualify:

• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of C#, and .NET experience.
• Hands on experience with WinForms applications.
• Understanding and experience with consuming web services, either SOAP based or RESTful.
• Previous experience producing technical design documents based on application designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server
• Worked previously on a team that adopted an Agile development methodology.
• Federal government background and/or interest
• 3 years of development work experience.
• Previous experience consuming web services and producing documentation.
