This individual will support the billing systems ETL processes in a production environment. This includes quickly and effectively responding to process failures, troubleshooting data issues, requests from our internal customers, and escalations. The developer will also be responsible for writing advanced SQL code, optimizing performance, writing C# code, and working closely with other development team members building software products. Must be proficient in SQL Server 2008.

Position Responsibilities

Reviewing requirements, writing SQL code, troubleshooting existing SQL code, optimizing SQL code, writing C# code, troubleshooting existing C# code and production billing systems support.

The successful candidate must be experienced in working on large complex SQL Server applications and products. He/she should also have experience working closely with development teams in a distributed environment. He/she has a proven track record of successfully contributing on projects and enjoys working in a fast paced environment where high quality results are expected to be delivered on time.

Personal Competencies

The successful candidate should be a seasoned SQL Server Developer with an in-depth understanding of the SQL Server 2008 technology. He/she must be able to develop and implement solutions which will meet the company’s goals, priorities, and values. This individual is the type of person who is comfortable playing a key role in driving innovative solutions by delivering best in class products through the effective use of technology.

Specific requirements include:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Excellent communication skills

Excellent problem solving skills

3+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or a Development DBA

3+ years writing advanced T-SQL

3+ years troubleshooting and optimizing performance of SQL code and relational database models

1+ years experience with database deployment procedures

1+ years experience with C#

Desired Experience:

Experience with ETL systems

Experience with BizTalk development

Experience with Team Foundation Server

Experience with 3rd party database monitoring solutions

Experience designing and developing SSIS packages

This individual has considerable experience as a SQL Server Developer working in diverse, geographically distributed development teams in a multicultural environment. He/she is a catalyst for best practice initiatives where people are encouraged to make a difference on every project.
