Consequently, they are seeking a Safety & Training Supervisor to join their team.

Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, the Safety & Training supervisor is responsible for coordinating health and safety systems, developing policies and procedures while maintaining good relationships between the Company and the employees. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of all training systems. The position will also provide support for operations by identifying hazards and assessing risks to health and safety in addition to supporting the management team in matters related to employee relations.

Your previous supervisory experience in a health and safety capacity within an underground mining environment is invaluable to your success. You have proven experience involving orientation and new hires on mines sites. Additional Health, Safety & Training related education and/or certifications would be an definite asset.
