Job Description


 
  • Provide 1st and 2nd  level technical support for network and telecom environment.
  •   

  • Responsible for adherence to  the regional support processes. Including change and incident        management.
  •   

  • Responsible for support of Cisco, Avaya.
  •   

  • Provide on-site support of the user office and remote data centers.
  •   

  • Capable of working in a financial service environment.
  •   

  • Implement voice and network projects as designed.
  •   

  • Provide remote hands for 3rd level escalation issues.
  •   

  • Off hours on-call support

 



 


Role/Team   Summary:

      

  • Support local user and communicate needs to local and Americas Network Services management.
  •   

  • Participate in the local IT and Americas Network Services governance process.
  •   

  • Advocate regional and global initiatives within the local environment.
  •   

  • Establish local procedures to properly align with local and global business requirements.
  •   

  • Ensure regional & global service is meeting the local business managers’ requirements.

 

Essential   Experience:  (Must have skills)

      

  • 3+ years experience l troubleshooting and installing Cisco equipment.
  •   

  • Installation and patching of networking and voice equipment.
  •   

  • Ability to troubleshoot ethernet and fiber connectivity.
  •   

  • Knowledge of turret and voice recording technology.
  •   

  • Knowledge of Market Data Vendors (eg. Bloomberg, Reuters) and their infrastructure.
  •   

  • Experience with network analysis tools such as Sniffer and Wireshark.
