Salary $110-$135K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for product management and maintenance.
Financial analysis and monthly reporting specific to the BU P&L.
Pricing, costing, inventory management responsibility for the BU product lines.
Work collaboratively with Market Managers in other regions, including Asia, to bring global coordination to BU initiatives.
Support
supply-chain management activities in the areas of MRP, cost reduction
programs, and continuous scrutiny of lowest cost sourcing options.
Represent
the BU on various cross-functional teams in the areas of problem
solving, cost reduction programs, R&D projects, new business
development, product line consolidation, and external marketing
activities (advertising, convention coordination, competitive
intelligence).
Support Business Director and sales group in market related activities.
Support Business Director on BU strategic planning and execution.
Work collaboratively with other NA Market Managers on overall Packaging Division initiatives.
CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:
Technical BS Degree or Business degree with strong chemistry aptitude and MBA.
5+ years experience in a chemical-related industry (preferably coatings). Experience in packaging a plus but not a requisite.
Analytical skills in financial analysis and reporting.
Fluent English and Mandarin is a plus.
Working
understanding of the various disciplines (operations, technical,
administrative, finance, etc.) and how they support the success of the
BU.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with many organizational disciplines to shape and execute business initiatives.
Committed

deliver practical, creative solutions with an emphasis on speed.
Ability to assume both leadership and support roles with team involvement.
Strong customer orientation with demonstrated ability to achieve world-class customer satisfaction.
DESIRED:
International Business Experience in Asia a plus
Green or Black Belt
Project Management experience
