Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Fulfillment Industry, is looking for an experienced JD Edwards (World 7.3) Support Analyst that has experience in the functional support and business analysis of internal and client-related JD Edwards projects. The qualified candidate will support the data integration with clients and 3rd party business partners.

Responsibilities:
Functional support of daily internal and client-related JD Edwards requests, including resolution of ad-hoc and report requirements.

Support of internal and client-related JDE development projects; business analysis and project management activities.

Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
Conduct discovery and requirements gathering meetings with clients, account managers, business analysts and other business stakeholders.

Keeps team leader and IT management well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.

Responsible for daily administration, troubleshooting and support of internal data integration with clients and third-party business partners (company's data integrator & EDI).

Adheres to coding standards
Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients

Assist in the implementation of IT solutions and services, including providing initial support of post implementation.

Work closely with the IT development teams to ensure that product enhancements are produced according to specifications.

Providing tracking, investigation and resolution of project issues.

 

Required Skills

3 to 6 years of expert level experience in JD Edwards World 7.3 functionality and database structures, business analysis, project management, and SQL.
Qualified candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Positive working attitude, self-starter, self-motivated
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Service oriented with good sense of urgency in delivering support services.
Must be a good team player and can work independently as well
Wiling to perform occasional duties before/during/after office hours

Desired:

Data Integration (B2B), EDI, FTP
3 to 6 years of relevant and current experience with iSeries system administration, control and support.
