Senior SharePoint 2010 Developer

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, testing and implementing intranet & extranet SharePoint web applications leveraging Microsoft web technologies.
• Conduct code reviews with contractors and junior level developers to ensure proper coding techniques and approach as well as adherence to standards.
• Assist management in the prioritization and planning of work.
• Support company intranet portal and multiple varied size business team sites.
• Documentation of changes including functional, technical specifications, and test plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Version
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010, C#, XML, XAML, XSLT, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript (including Jquery), CSS 2/3, .NET Framework (2.0 - 3.5)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Operating Systems (Client):  Windows 7, Windows XP, Mac OS X;   Operating Systems (Server):  Windows 2003 SP2, Windows 2008 {iPad included} 
• Browsers:  IE 7/8/9, Safari 3.x+, Firefox 3.x+
• SPDesigner 2008/2010
• Web part development, including SharePoint web parts, Silverlight, custom controls, etc.
• Workflow development
• Web Services
• Microsoft Infopath, Visio, Project, and Access 2007/2010.
• PowerShell

Experience with the following technologies is not required, but preferred:

• Microsoft Certified SharePoint Developer
• Control Point
• Media Rich
• Active Directory
• HTML5, Ajax
• SQL Server (2005/2008), Web Servers:  IIS 6.0 - 7.0 
• Virtual Machines (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V) 
• Mobile Platform Application Development: IDE, OS & SDK's supporting iPhone, iTouch, iPad & Android platforms (e.g., Xcode, Cocoa Touch Framework, Eclipse) a plus, but not required
• OOAD/UML (Methodology & Tools)
• Other Browsers (Chrome 8.x)

Professional and Education Experience Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in programming/systems or computer science, specialized training, Microsoft certification, or equivalent work experience required.
• 5-7 years applications development and support experience including 3-5 years practical experience developing for SharePoint 2007/2010 solutions. 
• Well versed in the SharePoint object model,  the .NET framework 2.0 and up, general web technologies including a detailed
