Position Description


The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics will manage marketing analysis and reporting required by key business partners of our Pharmaceutical Marketing Group.  This individual will help frame business problems into structured research projects, provide in-depth analysis and reporting, develop recommendations and present findings.  This is a highly visible position with the opportunity to be a part of a fast-moving organization with a recognized industry leader.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing quantitative and qualitative operations research and analysis, preparing and facilitating business operations improvement proposals, and formulating plans to support development and promotion of the company’s products and programs.
  • Analyzing opportunities for McKesson to expand products, services, and pricing strategies, examining marketing channels and exploring innovative business opportunities
  • Developing and deploying measurement strategies for quantifying value and improving marketing effectiveness for key programs
  • Managing the compilation, analysis, and reporting of data to forecast trends, applying mathematical models and statistical techniques, to support customer acquisitions and customer operations management strategies.
  • Evaluating business performance and analyze impact to market share, customer loyalty, and satisfaction
  • Leading  key projects with industry information vendors on behalf of McKesson
  • Leading small teams to complete data and reporting improvement projects
  • Utilizing Excel, SAS, and Access to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and economic forecasting

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Effective communication, presentation, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams
  • Demonstrated results orientation and follow-through
  • Ability to design and/or develop data and business applications
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, or other relational database tools
  • Experience in business-to-business or service marketing; pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy ,or health system  experience a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare data sets desired

 

Minimum Requirements:           


  • 5+ years of marketing, strategy, or consulting experience including 2+ years managerial/project management experience 
  • 2 years experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • 1 year experience in project management

 

 

Education


  • Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (business, math, economics, finance, statistics, science, engineering) , or related experience
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent experience preferred

Physical Requirements


General Office Demands

Ability to drive to or fly to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips.

May require up to 5% travel
