Web Front End Developers

Our client is looking for four Web Front End Developers.  The Web Application Developers will be responsible for development of applications for various projects and enhancements for branded web sites using front end web technologies.  The developer will work throughout the entire lifecycle including concepts, requirements and design, production, testing, and hand off to application operations teams. The developer will work on projects for mobile web, branded web sites, e-commerce, customer care desktop, and other web applications.

The ideal candidate should consider themselves an expert in web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  Hands on working knowledge with a high level object-oriented programming language is highly desirable.  In depth understanding of industry best practices with legacy browser challenges and emerging technologies. This candidate should enjoy engaging with other developers in a collaborative team environment, generating ideas, designing solutions and building them.  The team works closely with our business stakeholders so effective verbal and written communication is a necessity.


Skills:

  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSTL, JSF, JSP
  • Web content management systems  
  • Ability to research and solve application issues on critical production applications, manage processes and associate relationships in multiple locations, complete software development lifecycle management
  • Must have worked in a Java, Struts environment –no .NET or ASP
  • Must have worked as part of a team in large, complex, mission critical environments –no  work   exclusively  on micro-sites
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

Experience:

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of hands-on relevant development
