Role: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Fort Lauderdale
Contract Length: 4 months with possibility of extension
Number of openings: 1

Required Skills:
- 2 to 3 full hands-on implementation of SAP FICO areas and five years of industry and/or consulting experience.
- Knowledge with SAP Account Receivables, Account Payable (including Electronic Bank Statements), General Ledger,Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Enterprise Consolidations.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and multiple currencies in global SAP environments a plus.
- Experience with travel management for various countries a plus.
- Experience configuring and working with the new General Ledger and familiarity with the International Financial Reporting Standards in SAP ECC 6.0
- Must have experience convincing business leaders and peers about the proper use of standard SAP functionality and business process flows.
- Ability to handle ambiguous situations and work with individuals with conflicting viewpoints.
Description of Role/Responsibilities:
This role provides functional/configuration expertise in the design, support and enhancement of SAP Financial and Controlling modules of SAP. Viable candidates will have at least two to three full lifecycle SAP implementations and five years of industry and/or consulting experience
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conceptualize, articulate and implement SAP FICO business solutions including FI, CO, EC, and MM with integration to multiple 3rd party systems.
- Engage business partners in evaluating opportunities for process integration and refinements
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business contacts, IT departments, and vendors
- Work closely with the client’s SAP Finance team to identify and remediate areas and utilize SAP FICO out-of-the box configuration.
- Implement best industry standards and practices required for global business solutions.
- Play key functional role in the testing and implementation of software upgrades.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and groups.
- Escalate issues to management as appropriate.
- Coordinate and support QA and UAT for project.
Qualifications (include knowledge, skills, abilities, and related work experience)
Minimum of eight years hands-on experience configuring SAP Financials modules including:
- Account Receivables, Account Payable (including Electronic Bank Statements), General Ledger,Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Enterprise Consolidations.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and multiple currencies in global SAP environments.
- Experience configuring and working with the new General Ledger and familiarity with the International Financial Reporting Standards in SAP ECC 6.0
- Must have experience convincing business leaders and peers about the proper use of standard SAP functionality and business process flows.
- Ability to handle ambiguous situations and work with individuals with conflicting viewpoints.
- Experience working directly with SAP functional and technical developers, as well as technical architecture and infrastructure teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Optional, but a definite plus - experience to include implementation of Vertex O Series and Vertex Reporting & Analysis (VRA)
- Optional, but a definite plus – experience with travel management for various countries.
