Job Description
Our client is looking for a System Administrator to support a Windows envionrment. In addition to maintaining the Windows Servers and Networks, the System Administrator will support the Salesforce.com CRM system and must be able to collecting the requirements, customize the modules and provide on-going support and administration for the system.
Jr/Mid-Level System Administrator Skills
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- 4+ years experience with personal computer, server, networking hardware technologies
- Experienced in deploying and maintaining both Windows and Linux environments
- Experience maintaining Active Directory, Group Policy, FTP, IIS, DNS, SMTP, Printing
- Experience maintaining Apache, MySQL, iptables
- Experience configuring and maintaining ESX server environments
- Experience configuring and maintaining Patch Management, Virus Protection, Backups
- Basic knowledge & implementations of firewalls, routers, switches, wireless and VPN technology
- Local & Remote user help desk support skills
- Developed & maintained standardized desktop, laptop and server builds
- Experience supporting PBX telephone systems
- Configure monitoring of IT infrastructure and pro-actively resolve issues
Salesforce Administrator Skills
- The ideal candidate will have 2+ years implementing, supporting and enhancing a Salesforce.com environment for 40 users across multiple departments
- Participate and lead ongoing process analysis to address organizational inefficiencies and possible improvements involving Salesforce.com functionalities
- Document requirements and specifications for system implementation and enhancements, and help develop consensus for those enhancements
- Help drive adoption of approved and implemented enhancements throughout the organization and ensure compliance with the system
- Manage data loads and data quality
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards
- Maintain user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, and other system configuration options
- Provide training to new users and offer continued support and training to existing users
- Salesforce Certified Administrator a plus
