Job Description

Network Analyst III

Track all office projects from a time and task standpoint as it relates to network infrastructure that involves more than 10 new network drops to ensure that we are delivering these requests to our customers in a timely manner. This position will also train office workers and field personnel on the use of Cisco based IP phones and other infrastructure type technologies. This position will be responsible for educating the field offices on what all services network and Infrastructure provides as well as who to contact with technology questions.

 Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all network provisioning activities that relate to remote site office Move/Add/Change’s including assigning tasks to appropriate team members, working with telecom vendors to ensure circuits are delivered on time and configured properly, ensure we have the appropriate equipment ordered and delivered on time,
  • Work with business management to set realistic time frames for office Move/Add/Change’s
  • Hold vendors accountable to SOW’s and SLA’s related to network uptime and remote office Move/Add/ Change’s
  • Develop training material and train end users how to use IT infrastructure technologies
  • Develop marketing materials and train end users on services
  • Assist in the deployment of video conference endpoints in remote offices
  • Placing requisitions for networking equipment and services

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Qualifications):

  • 7+ years overall IT experience
  • 3+ years demonstrated network/infrastructure project leadership skills
  • 3+ years demonstrated training of end users on information technology
  • 3+ years using VOIP phones
  • 3+ years using traditional PBX and key systems
  • Demonstrated experience ordering telephone and data circuits
  • Demonstrated experience managing telecom vendors in relation to circuit orders and delivery
  • Demonstrated experience working with video conference endpoints
  • Demonstrated experience ordering networking equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with low level network engineers, high level managers and end users of IT technology
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work schedule without a lot of management oversight

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Qualifications):

  • Bachelors in Information Management or similar
  • CCNA or similar
  • Working knowledge of Cisco call manager and call manager express
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IP phones and their features
  • Working knowledge of Polycom Video Conference endpoints
  • Working knowledge of Telecom Management best practices
  • Travel Requirements: up 40%
