Their excellent reputation for value and customer care is supported by one of the best operational and commercial teams in the sector, and with a mission to redefine the word 'fresh', their roots are firmly set in endorsing quality, freshness and innovation across the board. They are now looking for an experience Group Buyer to assist the company achieve their goals.

The key responsibilities are to negotiate the best prices with packaging and equipment supplies, whilst being consistent with the required quality and specifications. We are looking for a the right candidate to pro actively manage all stocks held at all sites through the stock control system, ensuring appropriate levels are held in order to achieve a balance between smooth operations and minimal impact on the balance sheet.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years purchasing experience in fresh produce or food industry.  The skill set required includes a strong negotiator, some-one able to plan and organise their day with a good eye for detail and an excellent communicator. Knowledge of packaging and technical auditing would be ideal. The successful individual will have the ambition, drive and ability to develop the business and truly shape its profitability.
