Fujitsu Canada is currently seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for a contract opportunity based out of our Victoria, BC offices

Start date:        ~ May 2012
Duration:          ~ 12 months

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing workload and capacity of Business and IT teams whilst building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders
  • Mitigating and resolving conflicts and managing conflicting priorities including team dynamics
  • Managing release plan with balance between remediation and new functionality
  • Developing and maintaining an Integrated Project Plan and Resource Plan using MS Project
  • Defining budget, Chairing meetings, Negotiating win‐win outcomes
  • Facilitating meetings and discussions and effectively managing change requests
  • Presenting to multiple stakeholder audiences, and providing clear and timely project communications and status reporting

MUST-HAVES:

  • Proven track record of successful delivery in IT Project Management with an expertise in full System Development Life Cycle, Quality Assurance, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Business analysis, Development management, Release management, and Implementation planning
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years’ extensive change management experience, specifically managing large, complex, multi‐year projects
  • Strong custom application development experience with at least One (1) year of application maintenance management experience; and One (1) year of release management experience

NICE-TO-HAVES:

  • Previous projects using Critical Path Method
  • Previous experience in Pension Administration Services
