UDig is seeking an experienced Kronos Consultant for a Direct Hire Opportunity in Richmond, VA. This position will support the maintenance and development of applications for Kronos 6.1 in a multi-server environment. The position requires a strong working knowledge of Advanced Scheduling (Forecasting and Scheduling), WIM, WDM, Record Manager, SQL and SSRS. This position will also work closely with the Accounting Payroll department on all payroll configuration including pay rules, work rules and the supporting building blocks. Additionally, the position will involve mentoring and providing direction to junior associates in the development or support of Kronos related initiatives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Development Methodology and Support:
•Champion of the methodology by demonstrating ownership of all aspects of the development lifecycle
•Passionate support & ownership of all areas under their responsibility
•Consistently shown the ability to mentor others in the production of all artifacts required of a SDLC
•Able to influence the work of others in order to drive medium & large projects to successful completion through effective project management, customer interaction, and IT coordination
•Able to effectively estimate the time it will take for themselves and others to perform tasks and are able to influence the team’s work to be completed within those timeframes
•Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation as scheduled, and the ability to perform after hours support as needed
•Ability to mentor others in the business processes implemented in the team’s applications in order to provide resolution to support problems
•Can effectively categorize support problems and respond with the appropriate level of urgency
Technical Expertise:
• Working experience in Kronos Workforce Timekeeper v6.1 & 6.2 with SQL Server 2008
• Experience in Scheduling and Forecasting
• Experience in WIM, WDM, Record Manager and SSRS
• Experience in supporting and configuring the 4500 and In Touch time clocks
•Experience in reviewing and mentoring the successful work of others in evaluating the business objectives, developing user requirements and generating technical specifications
Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
•Typically 6+ years of Kronos development experience required
•4 year degree in IT related course of study
Expertise in the following required:
•Kronos Workforce Time Keeper 6.1 & 6.2
•Kronos Advance Scheduling
•Microsoft SQL Server scripting and data models (SQL Server 2008)
• SSRS
