Job Description

The Director will report to the Chief Credit Officer and will  be responsible for leading , managing  and directing the overall departmental workflow and operations. Also maintaining required turnaround times for loan request submissions and contributing to high standard of customer service provided by the Bank.

 

  • Oversee Small Business Credit Administrator and Retail Credit Administrator with underwriting and credit concepts. Review all write-ups to ensure formats are consistent with standards and all pertinent information is captured; approve loan requests within delegated lending authority
  • Act as a Senior Underwriter as necessary to reduce backlogs
  • Provide guidance and feedback to Relationship Managers as it relates to administration of their portfolios to manage risk and minimize losses
  • Provide general information regarding lending relationships, such as timing of last or next review, financial information received, issues identified by Credit Administration, or risk ratings
Desired Skills & Experience

Education/Experience

  •  College degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Proven experience managing supervisory and non-supervisory staff
  • Lending/credit experience is required
