Job Title: Cognos Developer/Admin

Location : Tulsa, OK

Duration : 3 Months + extension

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Cognos Developer who will be responsible for architecture and development of reporting solutions within the Cognos 10.1 BI Suite.

Requirements

1.Strong knowledge of Cognos BI tools (version 8 and 10), especially Cognos 10.

2.Cognos admin experience

3.Strong hands-on experience Framework Manager, Transformer (cubing), Lifecycle Manager, Analysis Studio, Business Insight, Business Insight Advanced, Active Reports.

4.Proficient in identifying, analyzing and solving problems .

5.Good knowledge of data warehouses, MS SQL Server database and SQL.

6.Good analytical and communication skills.

7.Good understanding of banking/finance.

Desired Skills, Experience & Technical Skills:

Hands-on Cognos (8, 10) experience

Framework Manager

Transformer

Lifecycle Manager

Business Insight / Business Insight Advanced

Analysis Studio

Active Reports

Data Modeling (use of Erwin or Embarcadero)

MS SQL Server 2005+

Hands-on experience in PL/SQL is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred

5 years of professional experience
