Our client is a leading technology product development and business consultancy practice. Their client coverage is global; they work at the cutting edge in creating and developing intellectual property and they provide intelligent solutions & strategy advice to existing or developing technologies & products.
Due to business growth, they are now looking for a business development manager to join a dynamic team which focuses on drug delivery and medical products.
- Become an internal expert on the drug delivery devices market and feed this knowledge to the technical teams
- Identify pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies that are potential clients for Cambridge Consultants
- Develop strong relationships with executives in client companies
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities
- Develop and lead new commercial initiatives.
- Participate in key industry conferences
- Up to 50% travel
- Proven track record in developing business in the product development sector
- Strong technical background with contract values greater than £1M per annum
- Strong technical background
- Significant commercial experience in medical product development or sales experience in a medical products company
- Knowledge of the drug delivery devices market
- Degree in relevant subject
- Masters degree desirable
