Operational Buyer - Aerospace (closed)
I am currently looking for an Operational Buyer with a minimum of 4 years aerospace experience to be based in Dubai. The main purpose of the jobe is to provide the buying strategy and fulfill day to day procurement activities on a day to day basis. · Determination of material requirements as reflected in MRP system |
|
· Issuance and administration of purchase orders (PO confirmations, open order status, delivery reminders) for products, services and / or materials from local and international suppliers |
|
· Issuance and maintenance of supplier delivery forecasts on basis of customer production forecasts and internal planning |
|
· Supplier development based on supplier performance rating |
|
· Effective usage of procurement tools (B2B EDI implementation, supplier portalnd |
|
· SAP data maintenance |
|
· Administration of supplier rejection and coordination of repair / scrap and/or on time delivery of replacement components |
|
· Manage, monitor and report on Procurement KPI’s |
|
· Maintain excellent relationships with all internal customers and with suppliers |
|
· Promote ethical buying behaviour |
